Mission Statement

The mission of the Cherokee County Adult Education Program is to provide leadership, services, and educational opportunities through a variety of programs that assist adults with special needs to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve their personal educational goals.

Requirements to enter Adult Education
-must be 17 years old or older
-must not be enrolled in a regular high school setting

Registration and Testing Schedule
Monday evening at 5:00 pm
Thursday morning at 8:30 am
You must arrive on time.

High School Diploma Classes
Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-12:00 noon
Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5:00 pm-8:00 pm

GED Classes
Students 22 & Over Attend Classes
Monday- Thursday 8:00 am-12:00 noon
Evening classes on Monday & Tuesday from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Pre-GED Classes
Students 17-21
Tuesday -Thursday 12:30 pm-3:00 pm
All students may attend on Tuesday and Thursday Evenings 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

WorkKeys Testing Schedule
WorkKeys Test are given on Thursday mornings at 8:00 am. You must make an appointment with Kim Jolly at (864) 487-7152 because space is limited.
