Friday, they take on Saluda in ROUND TWO of the playoffs!

After day one at the region meet, our track and field team had two student athletes qualify for upper state.
They are: Levi Strain (Pole Vault) and Anna LaFrancis (Discus and Javelin). Congratulations Wildcats!!

Seniors had 30-minute interviews today, receiving both a student evaluation and feedback from their interviewers. We appreciate our guest interviewers donating their time and expertise!

Yearbooks are selling out. Only 10 left! Any remaining yearbooks will be sold for $85 cash only on yearbook day, after all pre-sold yearbooks are distributed.

Color guard tryouts are this week in the atrium. We are looking for hard-working young performers who have a passion or desire to learn how to dance, spin flag, prop rifle, and sabre to join our awad winning competive team! The official try out day is Thursday, May 2.

Today's the day! Seniors will each have 30 minutes with an interviewer to practice interview skills and receive feedback to help them in real world interviews. The future is NOW!

Class Day is a time-honored tradition at Blacksburg High School, celebrating our seniors and the passing of the torch as leaders to the juniors. At the end of the program, our seniors line up to pay tribute to the seniors as they exit.

We will begin open season workouts on this Friday, April 19th at 4pm. These 4 workouts are open to any young man at Blacksburg High School that has interest in playing basketball this Winter. Let’s get to work!

Blacksburg Wildcat Baseball senior players each chose to honor an educator as their DIFFERENCE MAKER. Congratulations to these seniors and their Difference Makers: Levi Barrett and Mrs. Jennifer Taylor; Wesley Bright and Mr. Jesse Grigg; Jordan Evans and Mrs. Tina Blackwell; Jacob Gilfillan and Coach Josh Batchler; and Ethan Pennington and Mrs. Pam Hughes.

Students toured Clemson Universities where they received an in depth look at the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism and Sports Communication Programs. Students spoke with the assistant director of the program and were able to discuss with a current student to get detailed information for the programs.
