This office coordinates the administration of the South Carolina State Testing Program which assesses the progress of students, schools, and our district. Teachers in Cherokee County Schools are working every day to create learning environments to support the diverse needs of our students. A key component assisting teachers to plan for and deliver instruction is by monitoring student progress and analyzing assessment data. The data is used to inform teachers’ instructional practices and help to determine if a student is academically growing.
