Continuous Improvement Plan/Turnaround Plan

Per the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE), The Education Accountability Act - Article 16, requires schools with “below average” or “Unsatisfactory” ratings on the South Carolina School Report Card engage in the Continuous School Improvement Process. This is a plan outlining goals for a school or district's educational improvement. The plan aims to increase student achievement and requires specific strategies and measures that evaluate the success of the implementation of the plan.

CCSD has 3 schools, BD Lee Elementary, Draytonville Elementary, and Gaffney High School that are engaging in the Continuous School Improvement Process. Each school's final plan has been presented to the Cherokee County School Board for approval.
